Welcome to the 2nd Annual Pre-medical Forum: In the Spirit of Healing

Interested in the healthcare field?

The Student National Medical Association (SNMA) at the University of Minnesota Medical School has created a forum which will address the questions and concerns of anyone who is interested in applying to medical school.

Our goals in creating the 2nd annual Pre-medical Forum (PMF) include:

  1. Create a better understanding of life as a medical student and a physician.
  2. Bring attention to the importance of culture, diversity and internationalism in medicine, especially as it relates to medical education.
  3. Educate the applicant community about the unique opportunities here at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
  4. Increase the number of underrepresented minorities applying and being accepted into medical schools.
  5. Cultivate a community of knowledge, resources and programs for pre-medical students.
